Hotel and Business Fleets

Give your guests the best of Clare

County Clare is one of the finest places to cycle in Ireland — the Burren, the coast road to Doolin, the quiet lanes of Loop Head, the Lough Derg shore. Your guests are already coming here for the landscape. A bike at the door is the difference between them looking at it through a windscreen and actually being in it.

For hotels and guesthouses, a well-presented fleet turns a room booking into a reason to stay another night. For businesses, it's a practical way to get staff moving, cut parking pressure, and put something visible behind your sustainability commitments.

We supply the bikes, set them up properly, and look after them for you.

Working with The Old Ground Hotel

We currently supply and maintain the fleet at The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis, and we're now looking to work with a small number of additional hotels and businesses across Clare.

You own the bikes

This is the part that makes us different, so we'll be direct about it.

You buy the fleet outright. You own it. There's no lease, no revenue share, no monthly contract, and no concession operator taking a cut of what your guests pay. Whatever you charge for hire — or whether you offer the bikes free as a guest amenity — is entirely your decision, and the income is entirely yours.

What you get from us afterwards is the servicing and support to keep that investment working. We stay involved as your maintenance partner, not as a middleman.

What we supply

  • Premium leisure and commuter bikes — comfortable, well-finished, suited to guests of any ability

  • Electric bikes — the ones that make the Clare hills a pleasure rather than a problem, and open the routes up to every guest

  • Mixed fleets — a practical balance of standard and electric

  • E-cargo bikes — for deliveries, grounds work, or families

  • Helmets, locks and safety accessories

  • Branded customisation — your name on the bikes, if you want it

  • Racks and storage advice — so the fleet has somewhere sensible to live

We choose bikes for durability and comfort first. A fleet that looks good on day one but rattles by season three isn't a saving.

Servicing and maintenance, included

A bike fleet only works if it's ready when a guest asks for it. Our package covers that:

  • Delivery and professional assembly, set up on site

  • A handover so your team knows how to check a bike out and back in

  • Ongoing servicing as part of the package

  • Seasonal maintenance ahead of your busy months

  • Rapid response when something needs attention

We're based in Clare, so when you need us we're a short drive away — not a courier ticket and a two-week wait.

For businesses and employers

If you're looking at bikes for staff rather than guests, there's a second route worth knowing about. The Bike to Work scheme lets your employees get a bike tax-free through salary deduction, at no net cost to the business. We handle the paperwork side for employers who haven't used it before.

For more information on the Bike to Work Scheme click here.

We can also supply e-cargo bikes for local deliveries and light transport, which for a business operating within Ennis or a town centre is often quicker and cheaper than a van.
