Bike to Work

Good things to know

Savings

The scheme covers up to €1,250 for a regular bike, €1,500 for an e-bike, and €3,000 for a cargo bike.

Who's it for?

It's open to most PAYE employees in Ireland— if your employer is signed up (or willing to sign up), you're likely eligible.

Once Every 4 Years

You can use the scheme once every four years, counted by tax year — so updating your bike stays an option.

Our Support

Not sure if you qualify, or have any questions at all about the scheme? Just ask us — we're here to help

Bike to Work, made simple

The Bike to Work scheme is one of the best ways to buy a bike — most people save between 31% and 52%. But the paperwork puts a lot of people off. It shouldn't. We handle that part for you. Here's how it works.

Choose your bike

Come for a free demo and pick the bike that's right for you. We'll give you a written quote for the bike and any eligible safety equipment you'd like to include. There's no cost and no commitment at this stage — it's just about finding the bike you actually want.

2

Your employer orders it

Your employer pays us directly for the bike through the scheme. We'll give you everything they need to process it, so there's no complicated paperwork on your end. If your employer hasn't used the scheme before, that's no problem — we can guide them through it too.

3

You pay back tax-free

The cost comes out of your salary before tax, usually over 12 months. Because it's tax-free, you save between 31% and 52% depending on your tax rate — so a €1,500 e-bike can cost as little as around €750. You'll barely notice it spread across the year, and there's no interest and nothing extra to pay.

4

Ride away

Once it's approved, the bike is yours to keep. We'll set it up properly and make sure you're comfortable on it before you head off. And we're here afterwards too — for servicing, adjustments and any support you need down the line.
